# Trading Assets

Upscale offers trading across various markets with instant order execution. When choosing a challenge, you define the category of available trading pairs.

Traditional real-world financial assets: currency pairs, precious metals, and stock indices.

**Available pairs (7):** AUD/USD, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, NZD/USD, USDCAD, USDCHF, USDJPY

Forex pairs represent traditional currency markets and let you trade the exchange rates of the world's major currencies against the US dollar. **Maximum leverage: x100.**

#### 🥇 Commodity

**Available pairs (2):** XAU (Gold), XAG (Silver)

Commodity pairs reflect the value of physical assets and are traditionally used for hedging and portfolio diversification. **Maximum leverage: x10.**

#### 📈 Indices

**Available pairs (4):** DIA (US 30 ETF), IWM (US 2000 ETF), QQQM (US 100 ETF), SPY (US 500 ETF)

Index pairs track the performance of leading US stock indices — Dow Jones 30, Russell 2000, Nasdaq 100, and S\&P 500 — through exchange-traded funds (ETFs). **Maximum leverage: x15.**

## 🕐 Trading Schedule

### Cryptocurrencies (Crypto)

* **Operating mode:** 24/7, no breaks
* **Trading:** available around the clock

### RWA assets (Forex, Commodity, Indices)

RWA market schedules are tied to **New York time (America/New\_York)**. Because of daylight saving time changes, there is no fixed UTC schedule — opening and closing times in UTC shift twice a year.

#### 💱 Forex

* **Open:** Sunday 5:00 PM
* **Close:** Friday 5:00 PM
* **Mon–Thu:** trading around the clock
* **Pause:** from Friday 5:00 PM to Sunday 5:00 PM

#### 🥇 Commodity

* **Open:** Sunday 6:00 PM
* **Close:** Friday 5:00 PM
* **Mon–Thu:** daily maintenance break from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
* **Pause:** from Friday 5:00 PM to Sunday 6:00 PM

#### 📈 Indices

* **Trading session:** Monday — Friday, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM — the main US exchange session
* **Pause:** all other times (weekday nights and weekends)

⚠️ **Important:** During RWA market pauses:

* Opening new positions is **unavailable**
* Existing positions remain open
* Funding is **not charged**
* **Withdrawal requests are unavailable** while there are open positions on paused markets
* All functions are restored once trading resumes
